Ideas addressed: healing from sexual and other traumas through art, adoption, identity, first families, chosen families

BIO as relates to erotic power: Nicole Rademacher is an artist, reunited Latine adoptee, mother, registered art therapist, and is open for those who have been sex-trafficked. The influence of her adoption and reunion with her biological family feature prominently in her practice, exploring intimacy, identity, and belonging both visually and through community engagement.

Nicole inspired by an imaginary princess: Princess Estefanía rules an invisible city among the caves on the sensual Catalunyan Cliffs that Nicole fell in love with when she lived in Spain. Estefanía’s abandonment inspired Nicole’s passion to provide an imaginative healing haven for those deserted. Her watery cloak hides this sanctuary, opening to those who seek a safe haven. Inspired by Tarot, the Sun radiates optimism; the Chariot overcomes challenges; and the High Priestess supports trust in emotionality.
